Telehealth

Telehealth consultations are now being offered for the clients who reside in the clinic locations affected by state lockdowns. This means that if a state suddenly goes into a lockdown, we will be able to continue with natural health consultations during the lockdown period in a telehealth environment.

To celebrate the initiation of telehealth, for a short period of time, clients will be offered free telehealth consultations for those affected by state lockdowns.

What is a telehealth video consultation?

A telehealth video consultation is a conference call consultation between a client and student practitioner under the guidance of an approved Endeavour Clinic Supervisor, where the client may be at one location and the student practitioner and supervisor may be at a different location.

Advantages of telehealth video consultations include:

  • Reduced travel time and costs
  • Reduced absence from work
  • Reduced waiting times
  • Continuity of care during COVID-19 lockdowns

How do I book a telehealth consultation?

All telehealth consultations must be booked through our online booking system.

Once your booking has taken place, clients will receive an email appointment confirmation prior to their appointment. A further email notification will be sent to your mobile reminding you of the consultation date and time and providing you the link to access the telehealth consultation on your computer or device.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Telehealth video consultations can be cancelled any time prior to your consultation. We request you inform us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your appointment by calling 1300 859 785.

Please also read our cancellation policy.

How should I prepare?

To get the best from a telehealth video consultation follow these simple steps:

  • Log onto the device at least 15 minutes early to allow for preparation time
  • Check that the internet is enabled
  • Choose a quiet location with minimal background noise
  • Avoid wearing brightly patterned or reflective clothing as this may not show up well on camera
  • Switch your mobile off or to silent mode
  • Speak clearly so your voice can be picked up by the microphone
  • Look at the camera so you can achieve good eye contact

Who will be present at the Telehealth consultation?

The telehealth consultation will be carried out in the same way clients have always encountered when attending one of our clinics face to face.  Clients will be allocated a student practitioner to carry out the appointment.  In addition to the student practitioner, an observing student and a highly skilled Clinic Supervisor will also be present.
